The Business Growth Summit, 2022 marks an auspicious event, as MEL Services Private Limited completes 20 years in the business and firmly looks forward to its future endeavors with its associates. The summit was held on the 20th of August, 2022 and was attended by more than 80 professionals from the Material Handling Industry. The event led to shed light on new areas of opportunities and visions for growth.
Panel Discussion: The Future of OFF-Road Electric Vehicles & Lithium Ion Batteries
The summit started off with a short introduction, which was followed by an in-depth panel discussion which concerns a prominent aspect of our material handling industry: the lithium ion battery and EV as a future. Our esteemed panelists were Mr. Vidyadhar Humnabadkar, Managing Director, Curtis Instruments India Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Sunil S. Kulkarni, renowned Lithium Ion Battery Consultant and Mr. Sunil Gopalan, Director of MEL Services. Distinguished guests from all over India had attended the Summit. During the discussion, it was disclosed that Off-Road Lithium Ion Electric Vehicles & Equipment are taking the MHE economy by storm and are soon going to replace all Lead Acid MHE Equipment. The discussion also reveals that there will be a dominance held by Lithium ion's credibility for at least fifty years, and has turned out to be one of the greatest boons of the material handling industry. And MEL will be playing a vital role in this sector, as a means of expanding to new areas in the near future with its very own brand - MEL Lithium.
New Horizons: Introduction to 11 New Sectors
During the further phases of the discussion, there was a highlight of the introduction of new sectors, apart from the parent, material handling sector. The 11 new sectors introduced are in respect to the fields of Floor Cleaning Machines, Transfer Cars, Tuggers, AGVs, Robotics, Amusement Vehicles, Electric Boats, Electric Wheelchairs, Tractors, Golf Cars and Machine Vehicles. As new prospects for helping MHE Experts throughout the nation to expand their business.
Safety & Association with Triomobil:
In the next discussion, MEL Services addressed its responsibility towards the safety and precautions for its end users. It has been shown in statistical records that there are a lot of casualties and accidents which take place. MEL in collaboration with Triomobil has come up with the Forklift Accident Prevention and Real Time Tracking System. These measures include zone-based speed limits where the location and maneuver of the forklift is tracked and adjusted to avoid collision. Then there is a pedestrian safety tracking which automatically brings the forklift to a safe speed within 2 steps, and lastly, the real time tracking forklift, employees assets and production. These have been a stride towards a safer handling of equipment, as we value every facet of our industry.

The last segment of the Summit was conducted by Mr. Jagadish Aher, Entrepreneur Trainer and Coach, and was the Special Guest Speaker at the Business Growth Summit, 2022.
