Charge Tracking Reset (CTR)
CTR allows the BSOC instrument to accurately track the state-of-charge during the charge cycle as well as the discharge cycle. If the Keyswitch is on, the segment of the display that corresponds to the current accurate state-of-charge will flash. CTR accurately tracks the state-of-charge during both opportunity and full-charge operations.
Open Circuit Reset (OCR)
When the battery is disconnected from the instrument, the instrument will retain the last known state-of-charge. If the battery is fully recharged, the instrument display will reset to full when the battery is reconnected to the instrument. If the battery is partially charged, the instrument will display the last know state-of-charge when it is reconnected to the battery. The display will then equilibrate with the state-of-charge as the discharge cycle continues (i.e. the vehicle is used). OCR is only available on models that include the Memory option.
High Voltage Reset (HVR)
When the battery remains connected to the instrument during the charge cycle, the instrument display will reset to full when the battery voltage reaches the predetermined threshold (programmable in most Curtis products between 2.167 and 2.40 Volts per cell) for an uninterrupted 6 minutes.
